Report Details

Human activities were typical for tourist season, with numerous people taking in the views along Otter Drest Loop and at the Lookout.  Nobody was parked at access points and nobody was on or near the shoreline. No notable wildlife was observed, just the normal common murres, gulls, and cormorants.  The only notable item on the shoreline was a large cylindrical chunk of what looked to be styrofoam on the first cobble beach north of the Lookout.  (Note the tree platform construction on the marine terrace remnant just north of mile 226.)
