The grassy area in front of the barrier (full length) showing severe signs of erosion from natural causes and from people walking. A multitude of mole-type hills is scattered across this area. Over a dozen adult and juvenile seagulls resting on the rocks and 3 Gray whales surfacing about 5 miles out.
