Apparent violations: A tourist climbing rocks by seabird nests, quite a ways out on Ecola Point, disturbing nests..

Actions & Comments

Deb Atiyeh and I spoke at the Parks meeting on Thursday, May 20, requesting more consistent signage for Mile 314, 315, 316, and 317, primarily related to "No climbing on rocks and disturbing seabird colonies", "No drones or kites near rocks", and "Dogs on leash/dog restraint".  Visitors entering from Les Shirley Park or Chapman Point, or hiking to Crescent Beach from Ecola Road have no signage to inform them of these regulations.  Don't know the outcome of that meeting.
