A gorgeous fall day on the north coast.
Report Details
A gorgeous fall day on the north coast. Two surfers were enjoying the light swell, and two people were walking south. Trash was primarily plastic bottles and plastic bits and pieces. There was a telephone pole (I think) washed up, with cables wrapped around it. Lots of pelicans were active on the water, flying and fishing.

Notable wildlife: kildeer at the waterline, pelicans on the wing and a seal in the surf.

Appeared to be quite a bit of drfit wood removal (recent chain saw use, truck tires above tide line).

One person was laying down on the sand just past the wet, packed area and a truck drove by fairly close to him.

It was disturbing to see so much debris/litter on this beach.
