Report Details

Heading north from the Coquille River a bit before 7:30 am on a clear but cold morning and saw a large flock of gulls huddled near the jetty but not much otherwise in beach life. Frost covered the high beach and the accumulated logs--a fairly uncommon sight here. Shell fragments, crab molt and small stones comprised the tideline. No people during my walk, but 3 with dogs arrived as I was leaving the lower parking lot.
