No one was out at 5:30 on a cool, foggy morning on the northern segment of this mile, though one person and a dog showed up on my return.

No one was out at 5:30 on a cool, foggy morning on the northern segment of this mile, though one person and a dog showed up on my return. They were on the north jetty. Three vehicles; no sign of the occupants. Gulls and swallows were active. Small stones and shell fragments marked the tide line. Two structures of driftwood remain. Speaking of driftwood, several yards worth were charred on the southern end of the lighthouse parking lot. No litter or bodies.
