Report Details

Both halves of this mile were mostly the same: no litter, live gulls, not-so-live kelp, bull kelp, jellies, Dungeness crabs, mussels, shell fragments, stones, gravel beds, wood pieces, some driftwood, a sea palm or two. The main difference on the northern half was absence of  crows and presence of sanderling-type flocks. Both days of viewing were around low tide and 51 degrees with scant wind at about 6:15 a.m. Three vehicles south and two north. Two people south.
