A high number of people for this mile, enjoying the low tide. Will be returning with a mission to track the number of sea stars and sea urchins. Will edit report once I identify the unusual creature I observed in a tide pool.

Number of people: 15. Number of dogs: 3. Walking or running: 12. Sitting: 2. Photography: 1. Tidepooling: 8. Other Activities: 1 Mountain biker. Observed a young person using a much used short cut.

Cars/trucks parking: 4.

Notable Wildlife

Only observed one sea star (ochre) and no sea urchins at all out at the point where I have observed them in the past.

There was a beach hazard statement issued and I wanted to see what impact that would have as we were experiencing the first fine weather after so many weeks of cold rain. I was charmed by a family of six playing on the beach, the children even playing in the water.
