Report Details

Today was warm, shirt-sleeve weather, slight cloud cover, no wind. People and dogs were enjoying the beach--flying kites, surfing, playing in the sand, walking. The beach was very clean, picked up a half-trash bag of rope and bottles near the dunes. Maybe SOLV was there yesterday. The beach is usually quite clean, however. We counted 25 dead common murres on our mile - why such a large number? Last year, there were just a few.
