First visit to Mile 169. This section of the South Jetty beach is open to vehicles, but just one set of tracks observed. Other than occasional plastic flotsom, very little human debris. Extensive wood flood debris on the upper beach. The beachgrass-caused foredune on this mile is close to the upper tide line, and quite steep.
