Report Details

Many small plastic bits in tideline. This is what I have imagined making up the "plastic soup" in the large ocean gyre areas.Two small active waterfalls falling from bluff at what used to be "Dean's Motel". One waterfall perhaps 8" across at top and second perhaps 18". The second had what appeared to be new riprap beneath.

Temperature: 51 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: S. Tide Level: 4.0 feet.

many small bits of broken plastic in the tide line

Man-made Modifications

New riprap or shoreline protection structures. riprap at base of small waterfall flowing over the bluff in motel area. (For years was "Dean's Motel").
