A beautiful day and clean beach -- a walker's delight.

A beautiful day and clean beach -- a walker's delight. A few sandpipers foraging at surf's edge, a pleasure to watch. No debris but small scattered rocks and broken shells. No indication whatsoever of the large heavily-pebbled area and exposed low rock formations visible earlier in the year. I talked with a beach ranger who happened to be on the beach another day and it appears the tracks on this mile were definitely "play time".

Temperature: 60 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 5.0 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 3. Number of dogs: 1. Walking or running: 2. Other Activities: 1 jogging. Tire tracks from a rough access road going south to wide inlet area toward the south end of the mile, and multiple "turning around" tracks at the inlet area.
Concerns
Disturbances: Shorebirds moving in response to humans/dogs
Vehicles
