Mile 197 - San Marine, Tillicum Beach, Tillicum Beach CG - September 28, 2019

A beautiful warm windless sunny morning on the beach, enjoyed by about 25 adults; 7 kids; and 11 dogs, 3 leashed, 8 running free. The wrack line consisted chiefly of crab parts. At a couple of spots the wrack lay right at the base of the bluff. One large chunk of bluff has come down recently, and certain of the narrow clayey layers are continuing to decay. Aside from a few small pieces of plastic and one bag of dog doo, the beach was clean. As some waves were already washing up to the base of the bluff 45 minutes before the predicted high tide, I turned around after walking about 2/3 of the mile.
