The beach was quite clean. No tsunami debris noticed. New erosion area with shrubs/vegetation still green. We hadn't seen motorplane gliders before.

Human Activities

Number of people: 24. Number of dogs: 7. Walking or running: 24. Other Activities: 2 motorplane gliding; 2 on horseback. Two people on motorplane gliders disturbed the shorebirds. They first went north for a few miles before returning south. Dogs unleashed and chased the shorebirds.

Disturbances: Shorebirds moving in response to humans/dogs

Small shorebirds included plovers?

Driftline Content

Seaweeds and seagrass, Styrofoam, Wood pieces. Very little seafoam this time as well as animal casings. Beach quite clean.

Natural Changes

Erosion of vegetated foredune. See photos.
