No trace of Japanese tsunami debris but observation took place one day after SOLVE clean-up day. Heavy seafoam area in southern part of mile. Erosion in dunes in southern area getting worse.

Lots of dried white seaweed intermingled with fresher seaweed.

Driftline Content

Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces. Lots of crab casings around Surfland parking lot entrance to shore. Wood pieces there previously.

Natural Changes

Erosion in southern part getting worse.

Actions & Comments

What was really noticeable this time was the extent of seafoam which concentrated more in the southern part of the mile. Looked like multiple concentrated areas of soapsuds. Water channel at entrance to shore from Surfland parking lot. Henderson Creek lower but lots of streamlets along the mile.
