Nothing of significance was found in this observation except for the long twisted rope and the plywood crate. The reenforced area will be examined closely when we next observe Mile 213.

Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Shells, Small rocks, Wood pieces. 20 yds twisted rope & plywood crate (8'x6'), 1 opened side showing interior styrofoam (protecting something?) - no ID on box

Man-made Modifications

New riprap or shoreline protection structures. heavy timber criss-cross reenforcer

Actions & Comments

No action taken. Unfortunately camera didn't work when trying to take photos of the twisted rope, the plywood crate or the above-mentioned reenforcer. This walk was done with the previous 213 watcher so she could identify any changes since her last observation & give us a baseline of conditions in our mile.
