There were easily 100 people on the beach today. Lots of people just enjoying the nice weather, and there were a few people still on the beach from the SOLV beach cleanup that morning. The tide was already coming in, so the tide pools were covered up by that point, but there were kids playing in the surf and sand and lots of walkers. There were dozens of seagulls in the surf, and I saw five dead jellyfish in the drift line.It was my first time observing my mile, so I haven't recorded any changes/new developments to the shoreline (erosion, etc) yet.
