Beautiful day.
Report Details
Beautiful day. Thin wrack line, medium size continuous woody debris, human built wood "monuments." Not much mico plastics, mostly large peices. One truck doing donuts. One man fishing and a couple walking a dog. Seen a couple seagulls, 3 groups of sandpipers or sanderlings, and 4 Black-billed plovers (see pics) with lots of prints at the edge of the dunes. Please feel free to conment on the species of seabirds in the pictures. No dead mammals or birds. Sand dunes building up.

Temperature: 54 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 6.0 feet.

Plastic bottles and other litter left behind. Fishing Walking and walking dogs

Came across a few patches of what look like Market Squid egg cases, the first we've seen on the Oregon coast.

There was half a butchered elk rib cage in the parking area when we arrived which, quite oddly, was gone when we got back after the Mile.

Mile 333 is a comparatively remote stretch of beach, bordered by Camp Rilea.

This was a first visit for us, virtually all of the driftline was composed of driftwood.
