Mile 338 Report
June 27, 2022
Two notable things on our beach mile walk today.
Report Details
Two notable things on our beach mile walk today. As we walked south to north we spotted ladybugs on the small driftwood/grasslike seaweed combo that was at the edge of the surf zone. This was along most of our mile, and a first. We've never seen this before. We also picked up Buoy Beer labels along our mile. We only found a dozen, but there will be more heading to the beach as we spotted them in the water. Another walker we encountered had his pockets full also. He commented that the south jetty is a gathering spot, so we will return soon to help with more cleanup.
